3T Egg Coffee began as a modest corner on Hoang Sa Street. It wasn’t a grand project or a brand-new building, but a warm, small space nestled by the Nhieu Loc canal. This is 355 Hoang Sa (often called Hoang Sa A to distinguish it from the 83B branch) the very first location born in 2015, marking the start of 3T’s passionate journey to keep the heritage fires burning.
Where the Memory Begins
This is the birthplace of 3T’s perfected egg coffee recipe. The aroma of traditional drip coffee (phin) blending with the smooth, golden, and rich egg cream all of our most authentic flavors originated right here.
The Warmth of “Home”
The 355 branch evokes a unique emotion like returning to your grandparents’ house, where the warmth of a Vietnamese home remains intact. We use the simplest materials to tell a nostalgic story: from the patterned encaustic floor tiles and wooden chairs to the raw brick walls and soft yellow lighting. Every element has been meticulously selected by the 3T team.
Under the early morning sun reflecting off red roof tiles, stepping through the wooden door frame transports you to a space reminiscent of 1960s–70s Saigon. The yellow-washed walls and vintage furniture are enveloped in the rich scent of egg coffee. Out on the porch, the bustling life along the embankment with its lively conversations echoes the familiar image of traditional “cóc” coffee shops, a humble lifestyle that is an inseparable part of Saigonese memory. It is a cultural tapestry where urban rhythm and old-world charm blend naturally and simply.
From the second floor looking down, the Nhieu Loc canal flows quietly as the crowds hurry by, but in this small corner, everything suddenly slows down. This store holds a very special place in the hearts of those who truly love Saigon.
